In the summer months of 2021, there's a constant feeling of uncertainty about how our service to society will be able to include the significant connections between people that were enjoyed by Rotary members in previous times. Although the mantra of hands faces will certainly remain a part of our daily program, it's clear that the confidence building is evident and connections between face-to-face are being made. Rotary is indeed changing. In the months leading up to summer 2021, there is still uncertainty about the way we'll provide support to our community, which is based on the human connections valued by Rotary previous members. But it's clear that the mantra of hands-on-face remains a part of Rotary's routine. The reality is that Rotary has changed. Rotary is a social network that fosters long-lasting friendships. As we continue to use our online meetings to conduct business but we have reintroduced interactions with others and serve in a safer face-to facing way. We've taken these new opportunities and combined them with our practices to create a bright new future for Rotary! This is the reason I was so elated to have the chance to be a part of Rotary in 2002. As with many others, Rotary members, it has given me the security of a solid network of likeminded people who have formed genuine relationships developed over these almost twenty years.
